Ambassador Zaagman and Museum Amager director Søren Mentz visited the Dutch Waterland region.
500 years ago Dutch farmers from Waterland were invited by Danish King Christian II to use their innovative agriculture techniques on the Island of Amager.
During the trip a lot was learned about the origin of those first Dutch settlers. Cultural cooperation between Amager Museum and Waterlandsmuseum de Speeltoren was also on the agenda.
