FC Volendam confirm Steur role
FC Volendam have confirmed Johan Steur as their coach until the end of the season. Steur had initially been installed as caretaker boss in place of Henk Wisman and will be joined by Marcel Bout as his assistant. Bout will also coach the club's youth side Jong FC Volendam. The 41-year-old Bout spent eight years with Dutch giants Feyenoord before being released for economic reasons last summer. From next season, Bout will also take charge of Volendam's youth program where he will also be in charge of the club's scouting system. Former Dutch international Wim Jonk has also been added to Volendam's first-team coaching staff. The club currently lie third-bottom of the Eredivisie, six points clear of bottom club FC Zwolle.
