Goldman Sachs on COVID: "Good chance at least one vaccine FDA-approved by the end of November"
Bron: Goldman Sachs

Currently the WHO is tracking >160 candidates: while most (139) are still pre-clinical, so not yet in human trials, 17 are in development stage “phase 1”, 13 in “phase 2” and 6 already in “phase 3”, so in large scale efficacy trials. Three of those six are Chinese, two American and one is British.
A vaccine could be approved sooner than many think. Goldman Sachs sees “a good chance” that at least one vaccine will be FDA-approved by the end of November and broadly distributed by mid-2021. As this could trigger meaningful changes to virus-related restrictions and lockdown policies, as well as to people’s and corporates’ behaviour, it could change GDP and other forecasts considerably, triggering new trends in financial markets.
